In August, Ukraine increased iron ore exports by 12.7% MoM, to 1.53 million tons, valued at $144.3 million, up by 2.7%.

According to the State Customs Service, compared with August 2022 exports went up by 6.2%, but revenue dropped by 16.2%.

In January-August, Ukraine exported 11.2 million tons of iron ore for $1.18 billion, down by 44% YoY and by 53.3% respectively.

The main customers were Slovakia (29.3%), the Czech Republic (23.5%) and Poland (20.1%). (Ukrainian metal)
