In January, Ukraine procured 60.5 thousand tons of metal scrap, down by 75.6% YoY.
According to the UAVtormet Association, scrap deliveries to metal plants amounted to 49.4 thousand tons, down from 226 thousand tons last year.
Scrap stocks at metal plants as of early February totaled 20-25 thousand tons, up from 10-15 thousand tons in December 2022.
Exports grew by 43% YoY, to 8.3 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
