In January-November 2022, Kazakhstan exported 4.2 tons of gold valued at $66.9 million.

In tons, this is almost as much as in the whole 2021. Revenue grew by 88%.

Compared with the result of 2018, in volume exports increased by 16.6% and in revenue almost 7-fold.

Last year, the structure of exports changed. While in 2017-2021, the main customer was Kyrgyzstan, in 2022 Russia accounted for 61.6% of revenue ($41.2 million). Kyrgyzstan bought 2.2 tons (52.5%) for $25.7 million (38.3%). (Ukrainian metal)
