In 2022, Ukraine decreased export of ferrous metals scrap 11.5-fold YoY, to 53.557 thousand tons.

According to the State Customs Statistics, revenue dropped 12.4-fold, to $19.271 million.

Imports fell 12.6-fold, to 1.824 thousand tons valued at $3.488 million, down 12.9-fold.

The main suppliers were Turkey (78.92% in monetary terms), Russia (13.25%) and Cyprus (5.08%), while the main customers were Turkey (38.97%), Poland (34.25%) and Greece (10.12%). (Ukrainian metal)
