Metal industry in Ukraine is facing serious problems due to war and is operating not at full capacity. Yet, it provides civilians and the military with the maximum aid.
“In Ukraine we have two iron and steel works. One in Zaporizhzhya and one in Kamyanskye. Both are operating, their capacities are 50-60% loaded. Yet we are able to produce armored plates, steel shelters, etc.,” Metinvest CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov has said.
According to him, all the enterprises of the metal industry try to do the most for the victory of Ukraine and be a reliable support for the country.
“Here we are all in the same situation. And the metal enterprises support each other as best they can,” he added. (Ukrainian metal)
