In January-August, Ukraine decreased coal imports 3-fold YoY, to 4.37 million tons valued at $1.05 billion, down by 20.8%.
According to the State Customs Service, Russia (before the war) supplied $420.58 million worth of coal (the share being 40.05%), USA – $291.4 million (27.76%), Australia – $103.13 million (9.82%) and other countries – $234.8 million (22.37%).
Exports in 8 months totaled 523.86 thousand tons valued at $166.6 million, in particular to Slovakia – for $108.29 million, Poland – $35 million, Hungary – $20.77 million and other countries – $2.56 million. (Ukrainian metal)
