In January-August, Zaporozhkoks, one of the largest manufacturers of by-product coke chemistry, decreased blast furnace coke production by 19.3% YoY, to 466.7 thousand tons.
In August, output totaled 70.5 thousand tons, in July – 69.9 thousand tons, in June – 68.39 thousand tons, in May – 67.97 thousand tons, in April – 52.66 thousand tons, in March – 4.12 thousand tons, in February – 64.5 thousand tons and in January – 68.7 thousand tons.
The drop is due to the shortage of raw materials caused by the Russian invasion. (Ukrainian metal)
