In January-July, Ukraine produced 4.82 million tons of steel, down by 62.1% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture fell by 61.9%, to 4.815 million tons, and rolled metal – by 62.7%, to 4.229 million tons.
Last year, steel and pig iron output went up by 3.6% YoY, to 21.366 million tons and 21.165 million tons respectively, and rolled metal – by 3.5%, to 19.079 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
