In January-June, the Ukrtruboprom association enterprises decreased pipe output by 27.1% YoY, to 226.9 thousand tons.
In particular, Interpipe Niko Tube manufacture dropped by 14%, Trubostal – by 44.4%, Centravis – by 25% (stainless steel pipes) and Interpipe NMTZ – by 37.6% (electric welded pipes).
At the beginning of the year, pipe plants increased output thanks to favorable market conditions. But the Russian invasion resulted in a great fall – in March the industry almost stopped operating.
In April, Ukraine started to slowly launch manufacture and in May-June companies reached 50% of pre-war levels. (Ukrainian metal)
