ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih intends to launch its blast furnace No. 6 this week. The company has four blast furnaces. When the blast furnace is launched, AMKR will resume operation of the continuous casting machine. (Ukrainian metal)
Since the start of April, Ingulets Mining and Processing Works has increased sales of iron ore raw materials two-fold. Each day customers, both domestic and foreign, receive up to 20 thousand tons of high-quality concentrate. In March, InGOK shipped 342 thousand tons. In January-March, Ferrexpo decreased pellets production by 11% QoQ, to 2.713 million tons. The main reasons of the drop are the operational and logistics limitations after the Russian invasion, which still continue worsening the operation conditions. Sales amounted to 2.6 million tons.
