Tough saving of financial and material resources allows Yuzhniy Mining and Processing Works maintaining stable and controllable operation.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine affects the company operation.

“Because of the blocking of the Black Sea, UGOK cannot ship iron ore concentrate to customers in Asia and North Africa. The only way to ship is via railroad to Europe. Sales limitations have forced UGOK to decrease capacity loading. The company has temporarily suspended several technological sections of processing. Some concentrate is stored,” UGOK said.
