The US Department of Trade following an antidumping investigation will impose duties on the import of high-pressure seamless pipes from Russia, South Korea and Ukraine.
In particular, the duty for Ukraine will be 23.75%, for Russia – 209.72% and for Korea – 4.48%.
In 2020, Russia supplied 11.47 thousand tons of pipes to the USA, in 2019 – 39.63 thousand tons and in 2018 – 38.02 thousand tons, South Korea – 23.07 thousand tons, 17.11 thousand tons and 15.84 thousand tons respectively, and Ukraine – 32.8 thousand tons, 43.67 thousand tons and 38.97 thousand tons.
