In January-July, Irkutsk region produced 12.331 tons of gold, down by 11% YoY.
Alluvial gold output decreased by 9%, to 4.02 tons, and ore gold – by 12%, to 8.3 tons.
The decrease was due to the drop in output at two enterprises developing ore deposits and two – alluvial sites. They are Vysochaishiy, Ugakhan LLC, Lenzoloto and Retkon.
Polyus Verninskoye produced 5.2 tons of gold, Lenzoloto – 2.06 tons, Vysochaishiy – 1.43 tons and Ugakhan – 1.1 tons.
This year, it is expected to extract 25.674 tons of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
