In May, average salaries in metal and mining sectors decreased.
Only pipe enterprises increased their wages – by 7.8%, to 14.8 thousand UAH.
Thus, at by-product coke plants average salary was 19.2 thousand UAH (-12%), in ferrous metallurgy – 18.6 thousand UAH (-16%), at mining companies – 18.6 thousand UAH (-9.5%), in non-ferrous metallurgy – 11.9 thousand UAH (-0.7%) and in the metallurgy as a whole – 17 thousand UAH (-13.1%).
Average wages in the industry was 14.5 thousand UAH (-3.5%) and in Ukraine – 13.5 thousand UAH (-0.5%). (Ukrainian metal)
