The state enterprise Yuzhniy Sea Trade Port has almost ceased handling Ferrexpo ore.
“We efficiently cooperated with Ferrexpo. Last year, we agreed to increase exports of pellets. But now we do not handle their projects. That’s another step to diversify cargoes”, the port acting CEO Alexander Oleynik said.
In January-May, Ferrexpo decreased deliveries to the Yuzhniy Port via the Beregovaya station by 87.6% YoY, to 223.1 thousand tons.
At the same time, railroad deliveries to the European Union grew by 45.3%, to 1.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
