In 2020-2021, despite the pandemic-related crisis, the Ukrainian market of metal structures revived a bit.

According to the people’s deputy Musa Magomedov, this mostly has to do with the Big Construction program. Metal structures were in demand in large infrastructure projects, such as road, bridge and airport construction and repairs.

Now the market could grow because of the construction of logistics centers, port and linear elevators.

In 2020, the market grew by 10%, to 149 thousand tons, while investments by 15%, to 120.6 billion UAH.

31% of market participants increased output, while 68% decreased.

“This year, the market could further grow spurred by the Big Construction,” Magomedov said. (Ukrainian metal)
