The Ukrzaliznytsia’s metal scrap auctions scheduled for February 23 are under threat through the fault of the company itself.
According to a source, the company has placed lots with initial price a third higher than the market price.
“This means, there would be no buyers, they will simply not accept such conditions,” the source said.
Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a price of 8500 UAH per ton, while on February 20 it was possible to buy scrap at 6700 UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
