In January, Interpipe Steel turns 9 years old.

This is the first metal plant in Ukraine built from scratch during the years of Independence and the largest green investment in the industry ($1 billion).

Construction allowed shutting down environment-damaging open-hearth manufacture and decreasing CO2 emission almost 10-fold.

The company already corresponds to the standards and goals of the European Green Deal of 2030, as its emission does not exceed 250 kg of CO2 per 1 ton of steel produced.

Moreover, gross air pollution decreased 2.5-fold and gas consumption – 8-fold. (Ukrainian metal)
