After Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works resumed operation of its blast furnace and rolling shops Nos. 1 and 2 after repairs in June, it has been increasing output.
In August, DMZ produced 22 thousand tons of rolled metal, 28 thousand tons of steel and 24 thousand tons of pig iron, all up from 17 thousand tons, 22 thousand tons and 20 thousand tons in July respectively.
In January-August, the company produced 50 thousand tons of rolled metal, 63 thousand tons of steel and 61 thousand tons of pig iron, all down from 380 thousand tons, 456 thousand tons and 437 thousand tons in 8 months of 2019 respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
