ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih CEO Mauro Longobardo declared that he was mulling the possibility of buying electricity directly from nuclear power plants.
According to him, recently it has become clear, that electricity tariffs in Ukraine are higher than in Europe.
“Now we buy electricity from traders following auctions. But there have been some shifts on behalf of the government. There is an option to buy electricity directly from NPPs. If we can negotiate with Energoatom, it will be much better”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
