In April, Kazakhstan produced 236.914 thousand tons of steel, down by 39.2% YoY. In 4 months, steel output dropped by 20.4%, to 1.206 million tons.

According to the Ministry of the National Economy, flat rolled metal output in April increased by 0.7%, to 212,524 tons, and in January-April – by 22.8%, to 739,127 tons.

Ferroalloy manufacturers produced 183,454 tons of ferroalloys in April, up by 3.5%, and in 4 months – 730,376 tons, up by 3.3%. (Ukrainian metal)
