In January-March, Ukraine produced 81.1 thousand tons of metal structures, down by 29.6% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Service, pre-fabricated construction structures of pig iron and steel accounted for 9.13 thousand tons, down by 23.9%, latticed towers and masts of ferrous metals – 618.2 tons, down by 75.7%, metal containers for liquefied gas – 530 tons, down by 31.6%, etc.
At the same time, the production of tanks, cisterns and other vessels for liquids and solids made of ferrous metals with the capacity of 300 liters increased by 10.1%, to 4.5 thousand tons.
In 2019, Ukraine increased manufacture of metal structures by 22% YoY, to 470.2 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
