Karabashmed has started preparing a construction site to erect a new site to produce copper anodes.
The site will be situated in the metallurgical shop.
The workers have started disassembling old metal structures.
The new anode site will increase copper manufacture by a third, to 230 thousand tons per year, and create a new manufacture of copper anodes with the capacity of 265 thousand tons per year.
Karabashmed intends to produce the first anodes in 2021.
Anodes will be supplied to Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant. (Ukrainian metal)
