The occupational administration of Russia has liquidated two mines – Novopavlovskaya and Miusinskaya – by way of flooding.

“These mines were situated in the town of Khrustalniy (previously called Krasniy Luch). Until 2014 they were a part of the state enterprise Donbassantrazit”, the Verkhovanay Rada human rights ombudsman in Donetsk and Lugansk regions Pavel Lysyanskiy has reported.

The flooding has severely damaged both environment, and economy. In order to restore the mines, a lot of funds will be needed.

In February, the so-called “ministry of energy and coal industry” of Lugansk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, asked the Kremlin masters to provide 55 million rubles to flood the mines.

According to Lysyanskiy, there is information that the occupational authorities want to flood the Vergelevskaya mine in the town of Bryanka as well. (Ukrainian metal)
