Russian companies produced 367.952 tons of gold in 2019, up by 12% YoY, the Union of Gold Producers of Russia reported.

Mined gold output went up by 9.5%, to 286.563 tons, by-product gold production increased by 17.4%, to 18.134 tons, and production of gold from processing of scrap and waste rose by 11.6%, to 38.487 tons. Output of gold in concentrates jumped by 45.7%, to 24.768 tons.

The union expects production of gold in Russia standing at 350 tons in 2019 including 314 tons of primary metal, of which mined gold should have accounted for 280 tons, by-product gold for 17 tons and gold in concentrates for 17 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
