According to Alexei Agureyev, ArcelorMIttal Temirtau CEO advisor, the company is operating in normal mode.
“In order to protect the health of our employees we have developed a plan of activities in crisis situations, which includes all possible scenarios. At present we have no problems with steel manufacture or coal and ore mining. The quarantine in Karaganda will not affect our operation, as the government is taking steps to support the metal company as an important national asset”, he said.
