On April 1, Kremenchuk Steel Works will shut down its manufacture.
Some employment contracts, ending on April 1, will not be prolonged.
“Around 1,000 employees will become redundant”, the company noted.
Other employees will be sent on vacation and will be paid two thirds of their salary.
The reasons for the shut down of the manufacture are the absence of sales, breach of contract due to the situation in the country and the inability of employees to get to work, as many of them had to take buses and trains from neighboring districts. (Ukrainian metal)
