In January, Russia’s exports totaled $29.9 billion, down by 7.9% YoY.

According to the Federal Tax Service, the share of metal and metal wares was 8.7% (8.6% in January 2019).

The share of exports to far foreign countries dropped from 8.1% to 7.5%, but to CIS grew from 13.1% to 18.6%.

Exports of aluminum decreased by 42.8%, flat iron and unalloyed steel – by 24.7%, semi-finished iron and unalloyed steel products – by 4.1% and ferroalloys – by 11.6%.

At the same time, exports of copper and copper alloys grew by 35%, and pig iron – by 3.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
