In January-February Ukraine imported $15.338 million worth of copper and copper wares, down by 2.1% YoY.
According to the State Tax Service, exports dropped by 15.9%, to $9.814 million.
In February Ukraine imported $8.45 million worth of copper and wares and exported – $5.895 million.
Nickel imports decreased by 11.3%, to $14.008 million ($6.034 million in February), but those of aluminum increased by 13.7%, to $57.714 million ($30.315 million). Imports of lead dropped by 60.6%, to $0.896 million ($0.364 million), while tin grew by 24.5%, to $0.447 million ($295 thousand), and zinc – by 4.3%, to $7.562 million ($3.331 million).
Export of aluminum in January-February increased by 11.9% YoY, to $16.839 million ($9.679 million in February), lead – by 73.7%, to $5.179 million ($2.672 million), and nickel – by 18.2%, to $480 thousand ($320 thousand). At the same time exports of zinc dropped from $86 thousand to $11 thousand ($8 thousand), but that of tin increased from $15 to $16 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
