In January-February Ukraine exported 507.4 thousand tons of pig iron valued at $153.1 million, down by 0.7% and by 8.1% YoY respectively.
According to the State Tax Service, 163.3 thousand tons of pig iron were exported in February, down by 52% MoM.
The main customers were China (38.52%), USA (35.11%) and Turkey (9.49%).
In 2 months Ukraine imported 100 tons of pig iron valued at $71 thousand. The semi-finished products were supplied from Germany (42.25%) and Russia (57.75%). (Ukrainian metal)
