Interpipe has developed and tested the new Intrepid-SP joints, specifically designed for the North American market.

The joints are used in the construction of horizontal shafts to extract shale oil and gas in hard-to-reach layers.

Intrepid-SP can also be used in the development of traditional deposits, but with hard-to-extract reserves.

“We continue developing the portfolio of threaded joints for oil and gas extraction and entering new segments of the market. The new joint has been tested in an independent laboratory. We intend to ship the first batch until the end of the year”, the Interpipe CFO Denis Morozov has reported. (Ukrainian metal)
