Chepets Mechanical Works has developed a technology, which allows processing used graphite into products.
Graphite rods are used as anodes during the zirconium and calcium electrolysis.
The company accumulates over 200 tons of used graphite per year, that earlier had to be disposed of.
The new technology allows extracting pure graphite and manufacturing various products of it according to the TU 416-2019.
In 2019 ChMZ sold over 100 tons of graphite wares. (Ukrainian metal)
