ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has started conducting hot tests of its new twin ladle furnace and continuous casting machine No. 2
At the same time the company is brining its CCM No. 3 to design capacity.
The construction of two new twin ladle furnaces and CCMs Nos. 2 and 3 with the combined design capacity of 2.8 million tons per year is one of the key investment projects for the company.
Its cost is over $160 million.
Supplier of the main machinery is SMS Group. (Ukrainian metal)
