In November the Federal Cargo Company increased metal transportation in gondola cars by 10% YoY.
In particular, ferrous metals transportation reached 1.1 million tons, and other metals – 200 thousand tons.
The share of metal in the FCC transportation amounted to 12%.
The main railroads in ferrous metals transportation were South-Urals (270 thousand tons, up by 43%), Sverdlovskaya (100 thousand tons, +3%) and Gorkovskaya (57 thousand tons, +67%).
Transportation of metal wares grew by 5%, to 13.3 thousand tons, ferrous scrap – by 17%, to 177.5 thousand tons, and metal structures – by 48%, to 3.4 thousand tons.
Domestic transportation of metal grew by 9%, to 835 thousand tons, and exports – by 4%, to 428 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
