Interpipe has started supplying railroad axle billets to the local market.
“Having successfully finished testing and certifying railroad axles with mechanical treatment, in autumn Interpipe delivered the first batches to railroad car building and repairing plants”, the company reported.
This year Interpipe NTZ has successfully passed the Ukrzaliznytsia certification and obtained a right to produce axle billets.
“Even though the first batches are relatively small, this is a good opportunity for the company. We are just entering the Ukrainian market of axle billets, but we will gradually strengthen our positions in the segment”, the company noted. (Ukrainian metal)
