In October Ukraine produced over 2.7 million tons of coal, down by 8% from the target, the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine reported with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
“In October coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,720,824 tons of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 92%,” reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 332,313 tons of coal, which made up 79% of the plan, or 86,987 tons less than the target plan. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
