Under a strategy to modernize manufacture Zaporozhkoks has commissioned a new Ligran No. 2 granulation line for the electrode pitch in the coal-tar processing shop.
Investments in the project amounted to 152 million UAH.
The shop manufactures 7 types of products, the main being the liquid or granulated electrode pitch used to produce electrode masses.
The new Sandvic machinery will allow Zaporozhkoks switching from the manufacture of liquid pitch to granulated pitch and increasing its capacity almost 2-fold, to 49 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
