In January-August Irkutsk region extracted 16,118 kg of gold, up by 1% YoY.
Ore gold companies accounted for the most output – 9,437 kg, up by 1.7% YoY. In particular, Polyus Verninskoye produced 5,341 kg, while Vysochaishiy and its daughter company Ugakhan – 3,346 kg.
Druze LLC extracted the least gold – 750 kg.
Alluvial gold output totaled 6,681 kg, including 2,967 kg extracted by Lenzoloto.
This year Irkutsk region intends to extract 24,592 kg of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
