According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in January-June Russia produced 25.6 million tons of pig iron, down by 1.4% YoY.
In June output dropped by 3.7% MoM and by 3.1% YoY.
Rolled metal manufacture in 6 months grew by 0.2%, to 30.8 million tons. In June output decreased by 3.7% MoM, but increased by 0.1% YoY.
Pipe enterprises produced 6.1 million tons of pipes, hollow sections and steel fittings in H1, down by 1.2%. In June manufacture went up by 1.5% MoM and by 3.8% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
