In January-June Ukraine exported 36.723 thousand tons of scrap, down 7.4-fold YoY, valued at $10.086 million, down 8.8-fold.

According to the State Fiscal Service, in June 0.208 thousand tons of scrap were exported, in May – 8.086 thousand tons, in April – 8.791 thousand tons, in March – 8.246 thousand tons, in February – 8.252 thousand tons and in January – 3.14 thousand tons.

At the same time, in 6 months scrap imports grew by 63.2% YoY, to 36.540 thousand tons, valued at $19.583 million, up by 4.3%.

The main suppliers were Turkey (46.3%), Russia (45.67%) and Korea (2.77%).

The main customers were Turkey (87.86%), the Netherlands (6.45%) and Germany (3.95%). (Ukrainian metal)
