Danieli has received an order to supply machinery for the foundry-rolling complex at the Uzbekistan Iron and Steel Works in Bekabad, Tashkent region.
The construction will commence in August.
The project presupposes the construction of a 120-ton electric arc furnace, a ladle furnace and steel degassing unit.
Slabs will be manufactured at the vertical continuous casting machine.
The capacity of the complex will be 1 million tons per year. The complex will produce hot-rolled metal with the thickness of 1.4 to 12 mm and the width of 800 to 1300 mm. The machinery will be commissioned in 2020. (Ukrainian metal)
