In January-May Ukrzaliznytsia transported 29.8 million tons of iron and manganese ores, up by 5.7% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Service, metal cargo transportation grew by 2.2%, to 43.1 million tons.
Scrap transportation fell by 13.9%, to 1.1 million tons.
Ukrzaliznytsia has also decreased ferrous metals transportation by 2.5%, to 8.5 million tons, and coke – by 10%, to 1.9 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
