Uralelectromed has put into operation a new reverberatory furnace to produce copper granules.
In one smelting the furnace processes 25 tons of raw materials, up by 5 tons from the previous furnace.
The furnace will produce some 16 thousand tons of copper granules per year. This will help increase blue copperas manufacture.
UEM has been producing blue copperas since 1939. Since then the company has manufactured some 1.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
