Stepnoy Pit, a part of Russkiy Ugol, is developing the Chernogorskoye deposit.
Since its commissioning in 1993 the pit has extracted over 65 million tons of coal.
The anniversary 65-millionth ton was mined on May 24.
Last year the pit extracted over 4.2 million tons of coal with 3.4 million tons processed at the factory. (Ukrainian metal)
