Severniy Mining and Processing Works is carrying out a scheduled replacement of scrubbers, equipment to purify gases.
The project is carried out under the Krivoy Rog city environment program.
Investments in the modernization of the machinery will reach 30 million UAH.
New equipment will be installed in the pellets shop No. 1.
A total of 3 scrubbers will be replaced at the works. One scrubber is already operating, the second is being assembled, while the third will be put into operation in early 2020.
New gas-purifying equipment will decrease dust emission to the European levels. (Ukrainian metal)
