In May, Zaporizhstal increased steel output by 6.8%, to 342 thousand tons.
Pig iron manufacture grew by 7.7%, to 335.1 thousand tons, while that of rolled metal dropped by 5.1%, to 292 thousand tons.
In 5 months Zaporizhstal produced 1.711 million tons of steel, 1.832 million tons of pig iron and 1.46 million tons of rolled metal, up by 0.4%, up by 2.3% and down by 3.4% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
