Rusal has obtained a license to develop the Goryachegorskoye deposit of nepheline ores, the main raw materials for Achinsk Alumina Plant.
According to the estimates the reserves of the deposit will be enough for the plant to operate for 60 years.
Achinsk Plant is the largest enterprise in Russia processing nepheline ore to produce alumina. At present it uses its own raw materials from the Kiya-Shalturskiy nepheline pit and Mazulskiy limestone pit. (Ukrainian metal)
