In January-March, Russia’s imports totaled $53.8 billion, down by 2.4% YoY.

The share of metal and metal wares was 7%, down from 7.2%.

The share of far foreign countries was 5.9% (5.7%) and of CIS – 16.3% (18.6%).

The volume of ferrous metals imports dropped by 18.5%, including flat rolled metal of iron and unalloyed steel – by 5.8%.

At the same time purchases of ferrous metal structures grew by 16.7%, and pipes – by 7.4%. (Ukrainian metal)
