The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has fined DCH Group for 58 million UAH for the violation of the economic competitiveness protection legislation while purchasing Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works shares from Evraz, but still allowed the concentration.
The committee has studied the case of DCH buying the DMZ and fined the former for buying the latter without the committee’s consent.
Evraz sold DMZ for some $106 million. (Ukrainian metal)
