In January-February, according to the customs statistics, Kazakhstan exported 138 thousand tons of steel pipes and rolled metal, down by 44.5% YoY.

Unalloyed rolled steel accounted for 73% of exports, down by 54%, plates – 57% (-50%) and the rest – coated steel (-43%).

Some 25% of exports accounted for pipes, up by 23%.

The reason for such a decrease was the breakdown at ArcelorMittal Temirtau in November 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
